Description: Pair 2 Irish Coffee Cups Mugs Glasses, 10 Ounces, Tall Clear Etched Handle Flat Bottom, Cappuccino Hot Chocolate Cocoa Cream, Cheers Slainte Each coffee stands about 5.25 inches tall and is about 3 inches in diameter at the top and about 2.25 inches in diameter at the bottom. They each hold about 10 ounces of liquid while allowing room for whipped cream on the top. The glass is very thin and delicate. The etching is of grapes and leaves on vines. Unlike many coffees with low and small handles, these handles are substantial and will not make it difficult to enjoy your favorite beverage. Also unlike many coffees, these glasses do not have a pedestal bottom and sit flatly and solidly on the table, providing more stability. Based on the estate in which these coffees were found, I believe they are from the early 1900s. Irish Coffee is made of hot coffee, Irish whiskey, and sugar, stirred and topped with whipped cream. However, these glasses could easily be used for cappuccino or hot chocolate. Personally, I'd use them for Kahlua and Cream.
