Description: From 2008-2009: A 6-issue lot of Paul Dini's Batman run, from both Detective Comics and Streets of Gotham. Each issue is drawn by the team of Dustin Nguyen & Derek Fridolfs. Nguyen drew each of the covers. Each issue is complete, average condition of the lot is Very Fine Plus. All staples are present, free from rust, and holding all the pages and covers together. No water damage, no staining. Particular defects will be noted below. In this lot you get:Detective Comics #841 "The Wonderland Gang" appears: The Mad Hatter plus Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Near Mint condition. Detective Comics #846 "The Heart of Hush" begins. Catwoman appears. Very Fine Minus condition: tiny color-breaking crease at the upper right-hand corner of the back cover. Detective Comics #848 "The Heart of Hush" part 3. Very Fine Minus condition: tiny color-breaking crease at the upper right-hand corner of the back cover (similar to #846). Detective Comics #849 "The Heart of Hush" part 4. Cameo appearances by the Joker, Dr. Mid-Nite & Mr. Terrific. Near Mint. Batman: Streets of Gotham #3 picks up the story with "Hush Money" as Dick Grayson is now the Batman, and Thomas (Hush) Elliot is posing as Bruce Wayne. The Justice League makes a cameo appearance. This issue also features a back-up story featuring the Kate Spencer Manhunter written by Marc Andreyko with the art team of Georges Jeanty, Karl Story and Jack Purcell. Very Fine / Near Mint condition. The white areas of the front cover have picked up some mild ink transfer staining as seen in the scan. Streets of Gotham #4 Batman (Dick Grayson) and Robin (Damian Wayne) versus Mr. Zsasz. This issue also features a back-up story featuring the Kate Spencer Manhunter written by Marc Andreyko and drawn by Jeremy Haun. Very Fine condition: there are two tiny spots of discoloration on the back cover, below the rear bumper of the car in the Kia ad.
