It does occasionally show a pink toned peach blush, is predominantly a soft, creamy pastel pink with a deep rose red throat. The large softball sized flowers are certainly beautiful, but perhaps the best feature of this old cultivar is that it has a fast, vigorous growing habit, and is a highly disease resistant plant with, a strong, resilient root system. Leaves are large, slightly rough, light green, serrated foliage. This plant is a collectors must have and great gift for a beginning gardener.
