Description: This is for the full set of original 1969 Karsten Ping Irons seen here. There are 11 irons in the complete set, the irons are...1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, W, SW. The full set is in FLAWLESS original condition, no scratches, no nicks, no dents, no bruises, just as the day they were made...54 years ago. I had a relative that was an employee at the foundry, this entire set of irons was made for him, even prior to being numbered...and the genuine leather wrap grips were put on at his request...and they have probably had his hands on them 4 or 5 times when new. When he passed away they were given to me. I will turn 83 very soon, I do not play golf, but I kept his treasured irons stored in a closet for what seems like forever. You can see in the photos, they look as close to new as ever. The shafts are "Stiff" and still have their original decal on them. This is a set of pro irons that are likely suited for a Tour Pro, like Tiger, Brooks or maybe even my favorite golfer, "Big John" I love the white beard, reminds me of Santa Claus. This is a, well, sounds dumb I guess, but a kinda rare set of Ping authentic irons, being 54 years old and being in such flawless condition. I know I said for a "Tour Pro" but I guess even a golf guy with a low handicap would be able to play with these. I remember when my uncle owned them he had told me that the 1 iron would hit a golf ball about 260 yards...I can't even walk that far.
