Description: Pioneer Laser Disc DVL-V888 DVD/VIDEO CD/LD Karaoke Player - PARTIALLY WORKING This unit works perfectly when it comes to playing DVDs—I tested it, and it operates with no issues (you can see the video in the description). However, when playing LaserDiscs, the player will load and play about 20 seconds before getting stuck and replaying the same section in a loop. I’ve read that this may be due to the internal plastic tracks and gears needing lubrication, which could resolve the issue. It could also be something else. Honestly, I don't want to attempt fixing it myself and risk causing more damage. I believe it could be an easy fix for someone who knows what they're doing. Cosmetically, the unit looks great and comes with the power cable (note: no remote is included).
