Description: "Portfolio Of Photographs Of The World's Fair" - 1893 Chicago - Art Series 1 thru 10. Copyright 1893, The Werner Company. Each of ten softcover books/booklets has 16 semi-glossy pages of photographs or drawings of 1893 Chicago World's Fair. Size of book (when closed) is 13 1/2" wide x 11 1/4" high. "Saddle stitch binding" (two staples in spine). Pages of photographs are generally good (paper is not dirty or fragile)---see photos for typical examples of quality. Some pages have dog-eared corners. Cover and back of Series 1 book/booklet are detached/separated from each other and from 16 pages of photographs. Cover and back of Series 1 book/booklet also has small tears with missing edge areas (1/2" x 1 1/2"). The other nine covers are intact (not separated), but with edges that are slightly frayed and yellowed. Series 5 book/booklet has 2" tear in upper left corner of cover, but nothing is torn out. Obviously, I can't post all 160 pages included in the 10 books/booklets.
