Description: Rare PSK-29 35-mm Precision Movie / Motion Camera by PSk Purchased nearly 20 years ago to make silent films, my focus has drifted and this camera is as it was when I purchased. I was looking for a Bell & Howell and this got me into the game. Comes with manual (in Russian) two motors, a variety of untested lenses, 24-volt power supply, hand control, four film magazines and cables. This is an amazing consolidated collection for professional use and/or as a collectible of piece of the history of cinematography. It is in working condition but has never been properly tested with film. It will likely need some maintenance and possible pin conversion depending on your needs. The metal tag identifying the make and model was long since gone when I purchased the camera. I don’t know enough about it to speak with authority. I do know that this camera is professional-grade and was built to rival the greatest cameras of that time. The quality and engineering is amazing. Below and gleaned from the web, a bit more information: The PSK-29 is a Russian camera designed for special and combination shots, featuring precise film movement (indicated by the "P" in its name) with an image deviation of 0.007-0.008mm. Its main purpose is for combination shots, model shots, and various non-sync shots. The camera can run in both directions and supports the use of a bipack with two films simultaneously. The design is similar to Bell & Howell. A key feature is its ability to view by film. The PSK series includes models 1, 2, 21, 24, and 29, with the PSK-29 being the most advanced. It comes with a rheostat motor installed (0-25 fps, monitored by a tachometer) and requires 24V DC power. (I am reasonably certain that this is true of one of the two motors included in this listing.
