Description: Offered is the antique book "Psychology", written by William James and published in 1904 by Henry Holt and Co. of New York. This early book on the subject (see photos #3-#6 for contents), part of the "American Science Series", has numerous small black and white illustrations. The book is approx. 7 1/2" x 5 1/4" and contains 478 pages, including the index. It is in good condition. The hard brown cover has moderate wear. The gold words on the spine are still partially visible; the raised words on the front and back are faintly visible. There is no cracking inside either the front or back cover. The white endpapers have browned and there are extensive pencil-written notes inside the back cover. I see no missing or torn pages and all are fairly well-attached to the binding. They have browned lightly and there is some occasional spotting. There are numerous pencil-written notes, underlinings, etc. throughout. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions.
