Description: For sale is a September 30, 1908 twice canceled postcard with a real photo of the Public Library and Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It has printed on the reverse side "Post Card - Carte Postale" and "Made in Germany." It is a divided back card which first was authorized in early March of 1907. It has a blue green Benjamin Franklin Scott #300 one cent stamp on it. These cancellations are NOT double strikes. At 12:30 AM it was cancelled across the Franklin stamp in the upper right corner of the reverse side with the cancellation correct side up and running left to right. The other cancellation is at 12 PM and is upside down starting at the bottom left hand corner of the reverse side. Please see photographs for an accurate depiction of the condition of this item.
