Description: *** I SHIP TO ADDRESSES IN THE USA ONLY *** This outstanding Pottery Tankard was manufactured by Doulton Lambeth to commemorate the DIAMOND JUBILEE of H.M. Queen Victoria in 1897. The main design is across from the handle and features separate images of a young queen (1837 shown above) and an older queen (1897 shown above) in cartouches. The Royal Arms and a small spray of national flowers separate the images. A banner at the top reads as "DEI GRATIA VICTORIA QUEEN & EMPRESS". Next to her portraits are banners stating, "SHE WROUGHT HER PEOPLE LASTING GOOD". To the left of the "young" image, and just along the bottom edge, is a tiny flea bite of missing glaze. This must be noted, but does not detract from the excellent condition of this tankard. Please look at the photos. The underside shows the impression of the Doulton Lambeth name and other manufacturer's markings. This piece is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. This will be a delightful, unique, and beautiful addition to your collection. There is no original box or certificate of authenticity. I take extra care to pack commemorative items for shipping. Thank you for looking at my auction! Please bid carefully as my sales are final. -------PLEASE SEE MY OTHER ITEMS FOR SALE------- NOTE: The item description and the attached photos are intended to provide a thorough representation of the item in this listing.
