Description: Simply signed “Saul Bellow” on the front free endpaper. Clean black and yellow covers and spine, with minimal wear. The yellow spine appears slightly dulled in color compared to the yellow on the front and rear. Binding very solid and square. Corners sharp. No written marks to any of the pages. Dust jacket with general soiling and wear. The jacket spine is faded and mottled in color. Numerous nicks and chips at jacket edges. See photos. Jacket flaps intact and quite clean. The dust jacket has had a clear Brodart wrapper placed over it.. [it shouldn’t be that difficult to find a clean and presentable dust jacket to put on this otherwise VG+ book, or even a facsimile jacket, if you’re not a purist.] Feel free to ask a question.
