Description: Extremely rare book of type specimens produced by Tri-Arts Press in 1969. Type specimens are presented in alphabetical order by name. Each section divider lists "Filmfacts" -- tips for selecting and working with type in film and other media. Content: - Pages are not numbered, so I am not sure if every section is complete. - The "D-E" section does not contain any pages. - There is an empty folder in the back which may have contained a "Tabulator," but the Tabulator is missing. See photos for condition. Details: - Text is sharp and in good condition. Edges of pages are somewhat discolored, which is expected for a book of this age. - Edges of pages/tabs are bent and a little frayed in spots. - Plastic comb binding has some hardened paint in spots. One of the combs is bent (you can see this in photos) - Covers and binding show signs of wear. Softcover -- covers are black/dark gray cardstock. I was only able to find one other known copy of this book worldwide -- it is in a non-circulating rare books collection at Columbia University in New York City: https://clio.columbia.edu/catalog/2599568 -- via Woldcat: https://worldcat.org/title/44666410?oclcNum=44666410
