This was picked up by my Grandfather somewhere in his many travels. He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. This probably dates to the 1600-1700’s. It most likely is from Italy or France. It had been displayed on my home for many years. It has come loose at the top. Including the frame it measures 22 inches tall by 25 inches wide. The treads that held it into the frame have broken. You may need to have it reattached in the future. A very rare piece. The frame alone is worth $250.
