Description: Rare Bon Chef 1 Quart Enamel Pot with Lid Ivory enameled pot and lid with a European, country floral style pattern. The handles on the sides and knob on the lid are a matte brass. It is glazed, enameled on steel. Can be used on gas or electric cooktop or oven. Cannot be used in a microwave. Great for soups, stews, and casseroles. This is a smaller size and would be perfect for serving hot dips, or if cooking for two. Bon Chef is known for making high quality cookware. The pattern on this pot is very similar to one made by Asta. This vintage pot is in excellent condition for its age. It looks like it has not been used for cooking, but it does have a very small scuff mark on the enamel (see last 2 photos) and a tiny ding in the metal edge of the pot, probably from sitting in storage with other kitchenware.
