Description: A beautiful large Stevens and Williams rose bowl ( made for cut roses as long stem rose had not been develop then ) as most of these were made around 1900 and used constantly they usually have damage ,this one is no exception with two ptals missing on one flower and one missing on another . To me it doesn't detract from the beauty of the piece . Historically these applied flower pieces show the italian influence of about the same period . Also it can be noted that Fredrick Carter worked at S&W before coming to America and running Stueben Glass works . It also can be noted that he was in italy at one point with italian blowers. Is it accidental that this style of glass was blown at at S&W after his return , I think not . Please check pictures I describe as best I can .I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS and pack well to avoid any breakage .
