Description: Fantastic large studio Aldermaston tin glaze pottery flagon. The red earthenware flagon has a hand drawn initialed artist mark to the base.It measures~ 11 inches tall x 5 1/2 inches wide. This flagon will possibly have been made under the direction of Alan Caiger Smith at Aldermaston Pottery. It is blue and brown in color, with shades of green and has a fabulous abstract design. The stopper and wooden tap are original and in great condition. A beautifully designed, collectible piece. In superb all-round condition, no chips or cracks. Please see photographs for more details.
