Lil David Slingers were created by Jim Flood but were considered extremely controversial considering their design. So not many were made and distributed.These irons are incredibly hard to find due to the general disuse of the clubs. However, there are collectors of the bizarre out there – and perhaps an oblivious golf club enthusiast or two – who have their hands on this golf game oddity. At one point, American comedian Jackie Gleason had a set of these bad boys Condition: This club, see pictures, shows some light cosmetic wear but is in great playability or collectibility condition. There are tiny nicks and light finish wear on the sole. There are ball marks on the face. None of these marks will affect play and the grooves are in very good shape. The shaft is in good playable condition, there is light chrome pitting that will not affect play. The shaft band is intact. The grip shows its age, and while technically playable should be replaced, in my opinion.On a 1-10 scale this club gets, with a new grip, a 10 on playability.
