Description: This auction is for a rare new old stock, "balance tested" 1955 Amperex (Philips/Holland) 5AR4/GZ34 series vacuum tube. This was purchased from a Southern Maryland estate. This is mint vintage Amperex-Philips factory made GZ34 with a sturdy metal base, welded gray plates and a pair of angled "D" style getters. The graphics are perfect. It has Philips factory codes of rs1 and 55L, (1955). It retains its original box which has a tape repair because of a missing flap and tape repair to sure up the other flap. It even has its original packing material! It tested strong and balanced at 68/68 on a newly refurbished and calibrated Precision Tube Master 10-12 with 54 being the minimum. I will guarantee this excellent tube. To note, this is a rare unused desirable tube in its original box, so do not let this one get away! I will be listing many other tubes over the next few months.
