Description: PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY!!!!....Rare lot of four (4) 4" x 6" embossed/foil postcards featuring the Marvel Comics villain "Hydro-Man". These are unused! These postcards are marked "Universal Studios Islands of Adventure" on the front and back. Hydro-Man is a member of the "Sinister Syndicate" which is a Super Villain Criminal Organization made up of 5 superhero villains. They are: Doctor Octopus, Scream, Hydro-Man, Hobgoblin and Electro. These 5 villains battle Spiderman in the "Amazing Adventures Of Spiderman" 3D theme park ride in the Universal Studios Islands Of Adventure section of the park. The front of these cards shows a Marvel license and are dated 1999. I believe that this "Spider-Man" ride opened in the Orlando Universal Studios in 1999 so these postcards were likely produced and sold at the park to promote the ride but for some reason were never offered for sale?...I have never seen this postcard (or any of the other 6 Superheroes/Villains that were featured in the ride) for sale so this is likely some early production examples that were actually printed before the promotion was cancelled. Attached pics may show reflections due to the foil surface. They are in wonderful condition!.
