Description: RARE Vintage Lladró Spanish Porcelain Girl Kneeling Cat Holding Doll Daisa 1977 An outstanding example of Lladró's expert craftsmanship, this large, solid porcelain figurine features a young girl kneeling beside a brown cat, and holding a doll in one arm and a teacup in her other hand. Details are exquisitely rendered: e.g., the gentle folds of the girl's pale blue skirt, the strands of the girl's brown hair, and the cat's upward gaze. The "LLADRÓ HAND Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MADE IN SPAIN" mark of authenticity and the mark "DAISA 1977" can be found on the bottom of the base. PLEASE NOTE This is vintage Lladró, purchased in the late 1970s by my mother. Overall it's in excellent, pristine condition, with one exception: the tip of the girl's right braid is broken off. However, the braid itself is intact such that if viewing the figurine from behind the chip is not a major distraction. From the front the broken tip is not visible. See photos (esp. #6).
