Realtoy ISUZU VehiCross Red Black 1:64 Scale Diecast Car

Description: VEHICROSSSS! What the hell is even that? Daddy chill.... Isuzu was always first in making vehicles to answer questions nobody asked, but this may be one of the first automotive examples of an SUV crossover known to man making it historically significant. The VehiCross came out in 1999 right before the proliferation of the SUV market in the US (1997 in Japan). Isuzu equipped the VehiCross with the 215 horsepower 3.5L V6 engine from the Trooper and a 4-wheel drive system designed by Borg-Warner. These unique futuristically-styled round-bodied motor vehicles were only produced for 3 years. I believe Realtoy only made these in 2 or 3 colors, the Red/Black combination being the most common, but these are getting real hard to find in good shape. This one has some minor wear and chipping especially on the roof and on the fender flares, but is otherwise in decent condition. Literally a garage find that I was able to clean up.RealToy die-casts are made in China, but surprisingly have similar quality to Hot Wheels and Matchbox with the benefit of more realistic tampos or external finishing details. I would argue this Realtoy version is superior to the Hot Wheels VehiCross offering since the detail is much higher quality and the scale is more accurate. Although this particular diecast may not be perfect for display, it might make a good base for a custom build or a re-paint. Check the pictures for details on condition.
