Description: These are professionally rebuilt Porsche 356 fuel pumps. All the fuel pump parts are cleaned spotless in an industrial parts cleaner. They are then inspected for wear. Worn parts are replaced. The castings are media blasted with a fine media to remove oxidation and stains. This returns the bodies to looking like new.The casting sections are then mounted on fixtures. The mating surfaces are milled flat/level on a milling machine. The inlet/outlet valves were removed and the seats resurfaced for a good seal.All the steel parts have their remaining zinc plating stripped. The assembly screws are restored if they are damaged before zinc plating. The steel parts are then re-bright zinc plated in house and then dipped in a chromate to provide decades of corrosion resistance. A complete rebuild kit with Effbe diaphragm assembly is installed.The main diaphragm assembly is preloaded to factory spec during assembly.
