Red Hot Chili Peppers T Shirt Beastie Boys Thelonious Monster Single Stitch 1991

Description: On Thursday, April 18 1991 a fundraising concert for Chris "Wag" Wagner was held at the Hollywood Palladium. The show featured The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys, Mary's Danish, Thelonious Monster and was emceed by Roseanne Barr and Tom Arnold (!) - yes, really. I believe it was a two night engagement because I ended up with two shirts from the shows. It was called the Reconstructive Hip Hop as it was a fundraiser for Wag's hip replacement surgery. Wag was the bassist for Mary's Danish who played that night as well. Wag was also a part of the Latch Brothers, a Beastie Boys remix side project along with Mike Diamond. This is the single stitch, multi color, T Shirt with custom art for this one occasion from that show. An Artist drawing of the participants is printed on the front, signed Gonzalez, and the back features the band logos, promoter and sponsors including Golden Voice, Atomic Communications Group, Billabong and Surf Crazed Comics. I'm pretty sure dada was the opening band and were not well received by those waiting for Beastie Boys and Red Hot Chili Peppers. An epic one-of-a-kind show and T Shirt to match. Shirt is in good condition with some small specks pointed out in the photos and a small hole on the shoulder also pointed out in the photos. Size is XL, 100% Cotton on a Billabong tag (they were a sponsor). Made in the USA. The only other shirt I've seen from this show is the one that I still have. Time to let this one go.
