Description: Let me start I’m not an expert on these Redfields and they’re not clearly marked from generation to generation. What I believe this is is the model 24 center fire rifle. This one is missing the small lock wedge which could easily be made with hand tools with any tool skill. there’s a picture of the advertisement for this in the last picture. Might be marked either W, VV, or M. I guess it’s all in how you look at it. I think this is a later version not the one in the picture exactly but this one intended to clamp on the rib of the barrel.
