Description: This beautifully framed and matted etching by Rembrandt van Rijn is a must-have for any art enthusiast. Rembrandt’s signature and date appear very faintly in the upper right hand corner. I know little of the origin of this print. The number for the gallery is no longer operational. Brian Killian was a well known and well respected interior designer residing in Michigan at the time of his death several years ago. The frame has a rather majestic presence and shows some wear on the bottom with some cracking, nothing to detract from the overall beauty of the piece. From a pet free smoke free home. Please look at all the pictures as they are part of the description. Another seller has this same image currently listed for $2900+, unframed. Theirs has provenance, this one does not. I have no knowledge of the age of this print and did not want to take it out of the frame to explore further. I do know a little about the cost of framing and this is a steal! So…. if you love the look but don’t wish to break the bank this is for you.
