Description: eBay Listing Template r1 Vintage: RUSSWIN circa 1920 - 1940 entry mortise lock. Completely reconditioned inside and out, with a vintage CORBIN three fan cylinder (very hard to find cylinder needed for this model lock) and two new keys. Heavy brass faceplate with body of the lock clearly maker marked 'RUSSWIN', one of America's great manufacturers of builder's hardware during the second half of the 19th & early part of the 20th Century. Great find, mortise that utilizes a thumb press latch handle on the outside of the door and turn knob on the inside of the door. Comes with a new brass Superior cylinder and two keys. Dimensions as follows: Brass front plate measures 7 3/8" long, 1" wide, 1/8" thick. This mortise is intended to be used with a thumb latch handle on the outside and a turn knob on the inside. Box is 3 3/8" deep from the back of the front plate and it is 5 1/4" top to bottom. Screws are on 6 3/8" centers. Backset (the distance from the front edge of the front plate to the center of the cylinder) is 2 1/2". Functions perfectly. If you need a thumb turn knob, or a 5 /16" half knob post to accommodate a knob on the inside of the door, let us know as we usually have them in stock and we can add that to your order and include in the same box when shipping.
