Description: This vise was restored by me . Not just painted restored. A restored vise is totally taken apart inspected .Worn parts replaced . I Use no fillers on my restorations the scars are removed by sanding. I removed all paint to metal no cheating no chemicals. Used etching primer then several coats of hammered light blue and finished with Metallic Green. and used Silver highlights. The unpainted parts were polished light coat of oil. Jaw screws have been replaced. This is a interesting vise in the 1970s and 80s someone decided to clone a Wilton Bullet vise Because of the cheap labor they were made in India with all Sae hardware not metric these are very well made vises. Wilton put a stop due to copy rights . Although Wilton copied there design from York but thats a story for another day. A comparable size Wilton restored by me would be starting at $575 save money this a great vise already lasted over 50 years trust your eyes. I took several photos of the Wilton and the Taskmaster side by side so you can compare. You are buying one vise the Green Taskmaster I have restored nearly 800 vises . I have many repeat customers . All questions are answered gladly.I will answer questions about vises even if they are not mine. Thank you for your interest in my work .Ray .
