The text block is slightly foxed, marked and age toned, with a small rectangle of gum-residue to the front endpaper, presumably from a bookseller's label. The dust jacket is the original and not price clipped, it is slightly toned, marked, rubbed and creased, with a few small nicks and closed tears to the edges. An important and popular guide to all matters occult, from tarot and numerology to witchcraft and black magic. Although it has been reprinted numerous times the publisher evidently initially mis-judged its likely appeal as the first edition is quite uncommon, indicating a small print run.
