Description: Cosmic cast iron ..we don't know what it was made for but it sure does look pretty. 7 1/4 in in diameter outside edge and the inner ring is 6 and 3/4 so it should click into an opening that size 6 and 3/4 in. One and one half inch high. Cleaned and polished today using Rutland stove polish a great product for cast iron. Put it on your cold cast iron let it dry good and polish it like a pair of shoes things come out beautiful as you can see! Maybe you could make a nice candle holder or something you can come up with or maybe it fits in the stove you have. That's all folks
