How to use:Inflate monotub using included pump. Plug the holes with the red stoppers.Disinfect all surfaces with 70% isopropyl or 70% grain alcohol.Using about 4 lbs of substrate to 2 lbs of grain spawn, mix bulk substrate and mushroom spawn in tub.Place in growing temperature conditions and allow mycelium to colonize the bulk substrate.Once colonization is complete, switch red stoppers with filters for fresh air exchange and move the monotub to fruiting conditions.Maintain hydration by lightly misting daily with sanitized water. Mist the top layer, sidewalls, and lid of monotub with water one to three times daily.Within about 7-14 days, you should begin to notice hyphae forming. Allow minimal to moderate light to reach the tub to encourage these pins to grow in the proper direction, but do not expose the tub to excess light or heat. Your hyphae pins will begin fruiting or turning into mushrooms. You can harvest your mushrooms according to your own preferences, but for most edible capped species, the best time to harvest will be just before the mushroom caps have flattened.
