The 7 1/2 inch tall X 6 inch wide piece, Royal Doulton stock # HN 1901, features a beautiful young ladysitting on a paisley sofa in flowing red dress and blue and white bonnet. She has a bowl of fruit at her side. She is crocheting. Fully marked on the bottom with the an early Royal Doulton crown/lion logo, The piece was designed by Leslie Harradine and was issued, with this mark, in the 1930's or so.
