By 'progressive' we are referring to the polyurethane’s ability to provide the quality ride of rubber at lower speeds and at higher speeds to become firmer, when under cornering pressure, for chassis control and improved handling. The 350Z front control arm and shock absorber mount bushings are notorious failure points - unfortunately the factory does not offer replacement bushings, instead they replace the entire control arm with the same prone-to-failure rubber bushings installed. Whiteline provides a permanent high-performance solution with these bushings that allows you to both upgrade the soft rubber bushing, and permanently address an OEM failure point. For the cost of the bushings and the labor time associated with installing them we highly recommend replacing the upper inner bushings (W52988) as well as the control arm (W52991) at the same time - we offer all of them with FREE USPS priority mail shipping individually or as a kit.
