This plate titled at top as "P. XIX" and at the bottom with the phrase "Seals of the Priory of Lontbony Near Gloucester" , showing 5 different pri. This engraving is framedory seals around a mosaic with similar symbols. Framed under glass and matted in a nice decorative red painted wood frame. I have another print of medieval baptismal by Samuel Lysons in same red frames that is listed separately. Samuel Lysons: (1763 – June 1819) was an English antiquarian and engraver who, together with his elder brother Daniel Lysons (1762–1834), published several works on antiquarian topics. He was one of the first archaeologists to investigate Roman sites in Britain, and specialised in the study of mosaics.
