The artists name, Saul Veloz is etched into the clay on the bottom of the pot and was created in Mata Ortiz, Chihuahua, Mexico.. It is 5.5 inches in diameter and 5 inches tall and weighs 11.7 ounces. The bottom is rounded yet sits perfectly balanced. Please refer to photos as to the design details on the pot, there are 3 canines, 1 on each opposite side and one on the bottom. Also, there was a photo of the original owners with Saul Veloz which is among the listing photos but not included with the pot.
