Description: On August 5 1987 my Mom and I were lucky enough to get into Claiborne Farms to see Secretariat. We were able to stay a couple hours at the farm, it was a awesome experience. Secretariat was in his stall sleeping, even though he looks tired he was still gorgeous ! And so gentle. These are new photos taken from the fragile negatives. You will not be getting my original photos, you will be getting 11 4x6 reprints of Secretariat and his handler for that day, Bill. These are photos my Mom took with a small brownie camera, some photos are grainy, chopped, out of focus— that was the way my Mom took photos. Photos, have date and printer identification in small print on backs.
