The inserts allow planting of 72 plants per tray. 12 of these inserts fill a standard 1020 (10" x 20") plant flat. Each insert has 6 "cells" in it. These are the same trays used by nurseries to grow bedding plants for sale by the flat. I receive these trays in bulk and then break down the packages into smaller quantities.
