Description: Selmer Paris Limited Edition Adolphe Saxophone This instrument was originally selected at Selmer by noted University of Michigan Professor of saxophone Timothy McAllister. It was manufactured in 2015 on the 130th anniversary of the Selmer Paris Company in recognition of the inventor of the saxophone, Adolphe Sax. This one is serial #773200, 500 of these were made, this one is marked as being the eighth one made, 008. At the time of his selection, Tim told us he was very disappointed that he was not able to play test 007 (Bond, James Bond) The body parts are satin silver and the keys are silver plated. It is padded with Limited Edition white leather pads the same color pads as were used by Adolphe Sax. This instrument is in absolutely LIKE NEW condition. It comes in the Limited Edition case (with back pack straps), Limited Edition mouthpiece, cap and ligature, neck strap, the Limited Edition dust cloth, Selmer swab and cork grease. This is an amazing instrument that was selected by one of today's premier saxophonists. This is sure to be treasured for the next 130 years! Thanks!
