PUBL: Eismann This is a nice selection of ROMANCE COUPLES Greetings postcards that show PRETTY LADIES and MEN in ROMANTIC scenes. These are ANTIQUE postcards from the early 1900s, and in good condition. They seem to be in Black & White, and then toned with color. They are in a PHOTO STYLE, and they show the couples interacting and embracing. The postcards also show MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS. These postcards have the same back, and they are from the same German publisher. Theodor Eismann. The postcards are pleasing to look at and they have good detail. A few of these have a HUMOROUS theme. The men and ladies in these postcards are nicely dressed. They give you a good feel for the life and fashion during the early 1900s. These postcards would have been sent for GREETINGS and BEST WISHES to a special person they cared for, and for FRIENDSHIP. These are collector items because of their nice appearance, their age, and their appeal to ROMANCE COUPLES and PRETTY LADIES collectors. The postcards are both UNPOSTED and would have been published in the 1908 era. These would have been "Printed In Germany" during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915 era). They have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. Note that some of these have edge wear, cuts and creases. Regarding condition, please note that we try to remove damaged postcards from our lots, and only sell those postcards that are worth having in a collection. However, because of their age, please expect some creases, cuts, stains, and edge wear on the postcards. We do not want you to be disappointed.
