Description: Maker: It's indisputable: Limoges says quality. JB Limoges, founded by Jean Boyer in 1919, produced fine porcelain wares until it was taken over by Boyer’s son Georges in 1934. Marks and age: This set of six saucers has the only two marks known to have been used by the company: a blue JB Limoges decorator’s mark and the company’s green white ware mark. Both were in use from 1919 to 1934. Source: Third Edition of the Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain by Mary Frank Gaston. Design: The saucers are in the pattern that replacements.com calls BOJ20, featuring swags of tiny pink roses and green lattice work. Size: They are 5 3/4 inches wide; the cup slot is 1 3/4 inches wide. The six saucers together weigh 1 pound 11 ounces. Condition: They are in overall excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, stains, discoloration or repairs. There are several spots of light wear to the design; an example is shown in the photo with the red arrow. Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
