Description: An SGC graded NM-MT 8 - 1950-56 Callahan Hall of Fame card of Bill Terry of the New York Giants. The Callahan Hall of Fame set was printed for the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY and sold at the museum from 1950-56. New inductees were added to the set each year up until 1956 (making cards of the most recent players inducted more difficult to find than players printed for all seven years). The Terry card was first released in 1954. This example has no creasing, bold printing, nice focus, excellent centering and clean borders. The corners are consistent with those found on most NM-MT examples. The white cardboard stock on the front is not as bright as some Callahan cards (which is not uncommon for cards of players released 1952-56). The back is clean with bold printing.
