Description: Sinquefield Cup Series Repro Chessmen. The Chessmen feature a 4″ King with a 1.75″ Diameter base and are heavily weighted. The tournament sized chess set is stunning masterpiece with attraction of mesmerising unique art of hand craftsmanship. These chessmen are known for their play in the 2019 St. Louis Rapid and Blitz, the fourth Super GM tournament held in Saint Louis. It featured ten of the best players in the world including Magnus Carlsen, Fabiano Caruana, Sergey Karjakin, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Richard Rapport, Levon Aronian, Yu Yangyi, Leinier Dominguez, Ding Liren, and Shakhriyar Mamedyarov. All the pieces are hand carved and it takes our expert carver upto 2 weeks to finish a full set and sometimes even more so we maintain a regular stock of all our items. All the pieces are weighted with individual metal studs inserted at the bottom to make them ideal for good balance and speed play.
