Please try again as I have this corrected now. *** Up for auction is a Sony Direct Drive PS-LX310 turntable. I have used this turntable in my home theater for a few years with a Ortofon 30 OM (not included) and before that a Grado Black (not included). For this sale I have installed an Audio TechnicaAT92E that has had very little use. With the steady and quiet Sony Quartz direct drive motor, the sound is incredible. I added a record weight (included) and 4 feet (included) that further isolate the turntable from vibrations. It produces a clear, spot on sound.As you can see from the pictures, this is a near mint condition unit. Everything that it came with it when new is included except the box. Compare this one to the others on Ebay and you'll see what they are missing. This one has the 45 RPM adapter and the clear record guides in the back. The hinges work perfectly and I would remove the dust cover when used. This is necessary if the record weight is used. All of the original feet are present and the cords are in great shape. The tonearm rest is in one piece unlike many others. The auto return works perfectly at the end of the record or when the button is pushed. Here is some info from Vinyl Engine:"The PS-LX310 has a direct drive system with Sony's unique BSL (brushless and slotless) motor which has a high signal to noise ratio to virtually eliminate wow and flutter.The motors high torque assures a quick attainment of 33 1/3 rpm after only 2/3 of a revolution.The turntable maintains an accurate and drift free speed by reference to a frequency generated by a very stable quartz oscillator.Automatic return and eject functions are activated by merely pushing the buttons.Wow and flutter: 0.025% WRMSSignal to noise ratio: 75dB The low mass tonearm and cartridge allows the stylus to track with greater accuracy."The only flaws that I can see are a small line under where the tonearm rests. It is only visible under a strong light looking at the right angle. There is also a small smear on the right side that is also not very visible. The dust cover has some scuffs that can probably be buffed out if you know what you're doing.Why sell such a treasure? Well, I am a bit of a collector of vintage gear and I need to make some room. Check out my other auctions. Soon I will be offering a Sherwood fully automatic direct drive and a Yamaha semi automatic belt drive. This table will be packed in an oversize box with plenty of packing material. I'll make sure that it is in great shape when you open the box.
