Description: Soviet military Jacket "Afghanka BUTAN" Major Airborne Forces of Ussr. Used. Original. Size 52 Ussr or L/XL. Manufactured 1987. Condition in the photos (small darning in the last photos). Size in the photo in centimeters. The camouflage version of the Afghanka was used by the airborne Forces and the Marines and was developed in 1984. The Marines' version of the Afghanka is exactly the same shape as the classic Afghanka. The Airborne version was distinguished by the absence of patch pockets on the jacket, since the jacket was tucked into the trousers for ease of adjustment of the parachute system. The camouflage pattern consisted of three colors - chocolate brown, dark green swamp and light green pistachio and was called the Bhutan camouflage. The main difference between the original Afghankas and the camouflaged versions is the fabric used. Cotton twill with a low viscose content was used for the Afghanka. For camouflage options, use a more fade-resistant cotton twill with a small viscose content.
