Description: This used 50 Spanish peseta note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Spain. It is a purple, green, orange ,black, and blue note that is dated 15 August 1928, bear the signatures of Carlos Vergara Cailleaux, Adolfo CastaƱo Orejon, and Bonifacio Burgos Delgado, and measures 131 mm x 91 mm. Its obverse side features the Prado Museum in Madrid and the portrait of painter Diego Velazquez. Its reverse side shows the painting “La Rendicio de Breda” (The Surrender of Breda) by Velazquez. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of Juana Pacheco.
