The following is my opinion or notes on the condition of each issue included, plus every story reprinted (or printed) in each comic: Amazing Spider-Man Annual #2 - FAIR to GOOD: Water damage at bottom, spine splits, interior page tear pg 7 of ASM #2 story 2 reprint. There is also a weird coloring error on a couple pages of the crossover story with Dr. Strange, so to make up I also include a copy of Dr. Strange #179 which reprints the same story with a cool Barry (Windsor) Smith cover - (REPRINTS ASM #1/story 1 & ASM #2/story 2, ORIGINAL STORY: Dr. Strange team-up) Amazing Spider-Man Annual #3 - MAX GRADE GD/VG: Lots of tape holding the cover together at the spine and a few other places. The book feels very solid in hand and the tape is holding together nicely for now. - (REPRINTS ASM #11-12, ORIGINAL STORY: Avengers/Hulk crossover) Amazing Spider-Man Annual #6 - FAIR/GOOD: bought as 2.0, but looks more like FR/GD to me: Spine splits top & bottom of front cover (MEASURE, 1-2"? each?. Front Cover torn at top (MEASURE) around spine a couple inches. Page 33 has phone number written in bottom margin. Every comic bag is labeled to list every comic reprinted in the issue, and all issues are arranged in reading order with occasional inserts to show where certain annuals fit in continuity and other guideposts to navigate the reading experience of the collection. Regarding the omission of Marvel Tales #2, I was originally not planning on including this issue in this set because it doesn't reprint Spider-Man, Thor, Human Torch, or any of the characters normally associated with Marvel Tales. Issue #2 reprints Avengers #1, X-Men #1, "The Ringmaster!" story from Hulk #3, Doctor Strange from Strange Tales #115 (origin), and a Ditko monster story from Amazing Adult Fantasy #8. These are all great comics, but I figured you weren't exactly missing anything as far as the purpose of this specific collection. Nonetheless, I did decide to include an INCOMPLETE copy of Marvel Tales #2 anyway. It is missing page 1 of the Doctor Strange story (the flip side would be a Marvel house ad), so I thought it would be misleading to include it in the listing. If you're still reading, consider it a gift. For those not reading, it'll be a little surprise.
