HAU MAN WAH (NGAI CHUN KIT, MARCO), the head of the HAU family, is in league with SAM (CHATCHAI PLENGPANICH), the chief of a Thai gang. Thai policewoman RITA (SRIRITA JENSEN) is appointed to investigate the case. For personal benefit or public interests, VINCENT has to complete his mission within thirty days. He discovers that Senior Inspector LUK YIU KWOK (CHAN HO, MOSES) of the Organized Crime and Triad Bureau has an unusually close relationship with WAH. This has aroused VINCENTs curiosity and makes him decide to probe into KWOKs background. KWOK is killed later. CHI WAI is found to have met KWOK before his death and is suspected of having an affair with WAHs girlfriend PANG WAI (MUNG KA WAI, YOYO). VINCENT therefore decides to put CHI WAI under investigation. Thinking that the death of KWOK is suspicious, RITA allies herself with VINCENT so as to find out the truth. Nonetheless, no matter how carefully they plan and act, every operation undertaken turns out to be a failure. VINCENT begins to grow suspicious of RITA. While being suspected by his colleagues, CHI WAI starts to investigate SAM. But on many occasions SAM has saved his life and kept him from danger, which leaves CHI WAI unsure whether this guy is a friend or a foe.
