Description: Up for sale is a really nice Stanley #6 type 7 hand plane . The plane has the 3 pat. dates on the lateral adj. lever and the S foundry marks on the bed . It has double S foundry marks on the bed. I've never saw this before look at the pictures. Maybe this is more common than I think. The frog and lever just have a period where you commonly see the S foundry mark. The smooth sole is mark free and flat. The tote and knob have no cracks or chips. The horn on the tote has been sawed off as was common back in the day. The only issue is a very small chip on the back left side. Look at the pictures. This in no way hurts the performance of the plane
