Description: Sterling Turquoise Sandcast Earrings Vintage Style Navajo Native American Yazzie This is a great pair of medium-sized sterling silver earrings with a small snake eye (round) turquoise cabochon. The artist used a traditional sandcast method to create the silver patterns for them, which has elements of a flower or a bowtie with a heart shape on top and bottom. The turquoise stone is set in a serrated bezel. The earrings are 1" wide and 1 3/8" tall. From the top of the hook to the bottom of the earring is 1 7/8". The turquoise stone is 1/8" in diameter. Together, the pair weighs 9.2 g. The artist stamped "sterling" on one earring, and his initials "TY" on the other, indicating Navajo artist Thomas Yazzie.
