The lower rod equals or surpasses the quality of the stock Minelab lower shaft at a fraction of the cost. Attach to an accessory coil (6", 5x10", or 12x15") to allow quick change out of coils. No need to mess around with lining up the coil ears with the lower shaft and trying to insert the bolt while on a hunt. Simply unscrew the coil connector disconnect the shaft and put on the new one. Takes 30 seconds.
