Description: This is a stunning hand thrown raku pottery vase/vessel with an amazing, colorful glaze. It has reds, oranges, blues, greens, browns, tans and a metallic glaze near the bottom. The glaze is in different thicknesses where it has ran and has some craters, which give it more depth. There is some crazing on the colored areas. Don't know if that was intentional. The tan areas have an orange peel texture. There are some long craze marks, and they look like hairline cracks, but aren't. The vase is signed on the bottom, but I cannot make it out. It stands 4-3/4" in height and approximately 6-3/4" at the widest point. I have taken a lot of pictures, so you can see the condition and the gorgeous glazes. This is a very unique and colorful one of a kind vase. Thank you for looking and questions are welcomed.
